About Us

Robson Construction Services is a family-owned business led by Justin, a skilled general contractor, and Elishia, a florist and interior design graduate. With over 16 years in business, Justin’s expertise, particularly in tile work, has built a reputation for quality and attention to detail. After losing a corporate job during the 2009 recession, Justin took a leap and started the company, which has flourished as a one-man operation.
We live in Stillwater, MN, where we’ve embraced community life, volunteering, and supporting local businesses. Outside of work, we love family adventures—whether it’s cheering on our daughters at their various activities, spending time at the Flying Color Trapeze camp, or enjoying the outdoors. At home, we’ve transformed our property into a welcoming space for family, friends, and entertaining.

At Robson Construction Services, we’re not just about building homes; we’re about building lasting relationships with our clients and community.
We previously lived in “old” Woodbury (the house featured on House Hunters), but felt we wanted to move somewhere with a bit more space/land than what we were currently in. With Elishia purchasing the flower shop in Willernie, and Justin’s work locations varying, moving into the Stillwater area made sense. We also wanted a home with some projects and ways to truly make it our own. When we first saw this listing, we were extremely curious to look further; the layout leaned mid-century and was very unique compared to all the other houses we had been looking at. Our realtor was even a bit surprised as this home was truly stuck in the 70’s, no updates had been made. After walking into the front door, I was sold. THIS was our forever home. I could see past the very LONG list of projects I was already eager to complete, but it took a fair amount of convincing to sell Justin on it. Low and behold, it’s still something we joke about – “Gosh, I am sure glad I made us buy this house!” Justin says sarcastically and lovingly. The multi-level layout of this house screamed for entertaining! Justin and I always loved to host, and this home was going to allow us to do more of that! Big kitchen area, room for a large kitchen table, two living room spaces (one for the kiddos and one for just the adults), craft spaces, a bar area, three fireplaces and lots of great hide and seek spots. We have remodeled just about every square inch inside our home, and equally, just about, worked on every square inch outside our home. The home looked to be deep within the woods, so the clearing of the overgrown brush and buckthorn revealed what we turned into our outdoor haven. We have been so lucky to have swapped out the large original deck to replace it with our modern mid-century take on a resort. We added a snowman shaped pool, a turfed outdoor kitchen table/gathering area, a stage like deck for youngsters to preform, and a single-pitched screen porch for late night convos; this space is truly where we live. And it is BEST enjoyed with our friends and family. We always say our door, or lack thereof, is always open! We loving call our home the Robson Resort. Justin and I both feel our home is complete when it’s filled with laughter of family and friends.
As a family, we believe in the importance of local connection and pride ourselves on being involved in the community. From hosting events to supporting local shops, we’re committed to making a positive impact in the places we live and work. Whether it’s construction or community, we strive to make everything we do as meaningful as possible.
